USING IMAGES FREE of OWNERSHIP

Images on the Internet are often owned by someone and using them without permission may become an issue.

Below are some suggestions to get around this problem.

CREATIVE COMMONS SEARCH: https://search.creativecommons.org/

Search Creative Commons for IMAGES that you can FREELY use.

FREE IMAGEShttps://www.freeimages.com/

OR

PEXELShttps://www.pexels.com/

Both Pexels and Free Images have 1000's of images to FREELY choose from.

IMAGE SEARCH ON GOOGLE: allows you to filter the images that are Royalty free.

How do I tell me teacher where I got my information?

There are LOTS of rules about how to acknowledge or recognise where you get your information from.

You should have the AUTHOR/CREATOR, TITLE, DATE CREATED, WEB ADDRESS (URL), DATE ACCESSED  (if a web site) and PUBLISHER.

There are different STYLES of REFRENCING; at Corio campus we use TURABIAN style.
