Biodiversity & Ecosystems

BIODIVERSITY Bio meaning life and diversity meaning variability. It is the variety of all living things.

ECOSYSTEM : An ecosystem includes all living things (plants. animals and organisms) in a given area, interacting with each other and their non-living environments (weather, earth, sun, climate, atmosphere). In an ecosystem each organism has its own role to play.

Restoring ecosystems to the point where nature can take care of itself, and restoring our relationship with the natural world. It includes reintroducing missing species where appropriate, particularly keystone species. Rewilding leaves a positive legacy for future generations.
