The Investigator is the magazine of the Geelong Historical Society. The Fisher Library has copies of the magazine from 1965 to the present. The magazines contain many interesting stories about the people and places of early Geelong. If you are looking for a particular topic, the library has a CD with the index on it.
Painted in 1856, Eugene von Guerard's masterpiece View of Geelong, is a panorama of Geelong as seen from the hills near Ceres village.
