Google Art Project

(DOES NOT WORK WITH INTERNET EXPLORER. WORKS WITH CHROME & FIREFOX)

GOOGLE ART PROJECT

Explore museums from around the world, discover and view hundreds of artworks at incredible zoom levels, and even create and share your own collection of masterpieces.

Google has taken its Street View technology into the great galleries and museums of the world. Walk through the Tate or Uffizi Galleries, or examine the collection at the Palace of Versailles. Zoom in on great artworks to examine them in close detail, read Viewing Notes supplied by the galleries themselves, and follow web links to read more about the artist behind each work.

The information for each artwork and artist is supported by a range of Google technologies, including Google Maps, Street View, Google Earth and Google Scholar.
